Quick Answer
The Lily of the Valley Illustrated Vault is a premium single-set dice storage box that combines handcrafted black walnut wood with an etched floral design. Choose it if you value aesthetic display and secure protection for a favorite set.
Why the Lily of the Valley Vault Stands Out
This vault is made from black walnut wood, a material known for its rich color and durability. The etched custom artwork adds a personal touch that sets it apart from plain dice boxes, making it as much a display piece as a storage solution.
The magnetic clasps and black velvet lining work together to keep your dice secure and scratch-free. The included velvet bag adds an extra layer of protection when you're on the move.
Trade-Offs to Consider
The vault holds dice up to 28mm, which is slightly larger than standard size but not suitable for oversized dice like chonks or jumbo d20s. If you primarily use large dice, this may not be the right fit.
It fits exactly one set of dice. If you need to carry multiple sets for a campaign, you'll need additional storage or a larger case.
Decision Rules for Choosing the Lily of the Valley Vault
- Check your dice size: Measure your largest die. If it exceeds 28mm, this vault won't close properly. Standard dice are typically 16-22mm, so most sets will fit. Always measure before buying, especially for non-standard dice.
- Decide if one set is enough: This vault holds exactly one set. If you like to carry backup sets or swap dice mid-session, consider a multi-dice case instead. For multi-set players, look for a larger storage solution.
- Consider your display preference: The etched floral artwork makes this vault a display piece. If you prefer a plain or more utilitarian box, this may not match your style. Think about whether you want storage that doubles as decor.
